Ok, so I get that if he sells the 250/3c in one bunch, the TP will charge the normal tax fee of 10% and the total will be 750 * .9 = 675, then subtract the 38 and his total profit is 637. Then, apparently, if the 250 items happen to sell one at a time, the TP charges the 10% tax at every transaction.
Some aspects are even cheaper than usual, for example server transfer affects the whole account, while in other games it is character specific. It would cost me around 150$ to transfer all my characters in wow for example. Also, don't forget that everything is optional, and you don't have to pay monthly fee.
