I had the 13 Pro and loved it but upgraded to the 14 Pro Max for better battery life after iOS 16 ruined it. I don’t know that I will go down to regular Pro size anytime soon because the 14 Pro Max battery life still isn’t long enough for me, and I do enjoy the bigger screen. I will be upgrading to the 15 Pro Max though. But the Pro Max just feels like the best iPhone experience IMO (along with the 14 Plus). The larger screen just is more immersive. I hope Apple can add more and possibly split screen. But their so greedy and will “Apple-fy” it and restrict it to their newer and more expensive phones. 3. Really glad I upgraded from the regular 13 to the 14 Pro Max. It’s worked flawlessly, and the bright 120 hz screen is like eye candy when you watch it unlock. I haven’t ran out of battery in a single day yet. Could probably go 2 days on one charge of normal use. But everything else was a minor upgrade, or in one case (battery life), even a slight downgrade. When the 12 Pro Max was new, I was getting over 34-36 hours easy between charges with average screen time. Now that's closer to 28-30 with the 14 Pro Max, but definitely not a deal breaker. In my book, anything over a day is still good. The Iphone 13 Pro was my first Iphone since an Iphone 4. Honestly the laggy camera, both in shutter speed, app opening time, and the lag switching between lens had become normal to me. When I switched to the 13 Pro, for battery, build quality, processor, and yes Camera, I was FLOORED at how smooth and reliable the camera was. I intend to purchase the iPhone 15 Pro, but it's currently unavailable for at least the next two weeks. However, I'm now torn between choosing the Pro Max or the regular Pro. Camera quality and battery life are significant factors for me. The 6.1" display of the Pro suits my preferences, but I'm primarily concerned about its battery life.
